  现代传动与数字化技术研究所，所属机械设计及理论二级国家重点学科。现有教师17人，其中教授5人（博导3人），副教授8人。 研究方向：机械可靠性设计、先进磨粒加工及零部件表面完整性、摩擦学、机器人与机构学、现代传动与数字化设计、工程建模与仿真技术及理论等。 承担国家精品课“机械设计”、辽宁省精品课“机械原理”等9门课程的教学。建有国家工科机械基础教学基地。已出版专著和教材30余部；承担国家自然科学基金项目15项，国家科技重大专项1项，国家863项目2项，辽宁省及沈阳市科学技术项目16项；获国家与省部级奖励9项，国家发明专利12项。发表学术论文300余篇，其中被SCI、EI等收录200余篇。 Institute of Modern Transmission and Digital Technology The institute of Modern Transmission and Digital Technology is affiliated with the national key subject of mechanical design and theory second-level discipline. There are 17 full-time teachers, including 5 professors（3 Doctoral supervisors）,8 associate professors. The main research interests include: reliability design of machinery, advanced abrasives technologies and surface integrity of mechanical parts, tribology, modern transmission and digital design, robots and mechanism theories, engineering modeling and simulation technologies，etc. The institute has fostered more than 300 masters and doctors. It undertakes the courses for undergraduate students, including Mechanisms and Machine Theory, Machine Design, Basis of Machine Design, Engineering Materials & Metals Working, etc.. In these courses, Machine Design is the National Fine Course and Theory of Machine and Mechanisms is the Liaoning Province Fine Course. It also undertakes graduate courses, including Mechanical Reliability Design, Robot and Mechanism, Modern Transmission Theory, Ttribology, Green Design and Manufacturing and so on. The National Teaching Base of Machine-oriented Fundamental Courses is built in the institute. Academic achievements: published more than 30 monographs and teaching materials of national planning; undertook 15 projects of National Natural Science Foundation, 1 project of National Science and Technology Major Project of China, 2 projects of 863 Program, 16 projects of Science and Liaoning Science and Technology Foundation; gained 9 national, provincial and ministerial prizes of science and technology; won 12 national invention patents; published more than 300 academic papers, and nearly 200 papers have been indexed by SCI and EI.
